Jenson Ventures Invests SEIS in The VenueVerse to Transform Wedding Venue Discovery

Backing an experienced wedding entrepreneur to build the AI-powered, immersive platform the industry is missing

London, 1st October 2026 — Jenson Ventures has announced a £250,000 investment from its SEIS Fund into The VenueVerse, an AI-powered, immersive venue discovery platform designed to change how couples find, experience and choose wedding venues.

The investment comes at a significant moment for the wedding industry. The Government has described its proposed reforms to wedding law in England and Wales as the biggest shake-up in almost 200 years. The proposals would move away from a system centred on licensed buildings towards one focused on authorised officiants, potentially giving couples far greater flexibility over where and how they marry.

The VenueVerse has been shaped by more than 20 years of first-hand experience in weddings and hospitality. Founder and CEO Stacey previously built The Venue Experts without external investment, working directly with venues on sales, marketing and conversion. The VenueVerse marks the next stage of that journey: moving from a bootstrapped wedding business to a venture-backed technology company focused on solving the discovery and sales challenges she has seen across the industry.

As the choices available to couples evolve, The VenueVerse is building a new way for them to navigate those choices.

Rather than operating as another listing site or directory, The VenueVerse is being developed as an end-to-end discovery platform. Couples will be able to describe the wedding they are imagining, receive AI-assisted venue matches, explore immersive virtual viewings from anywhere in the world, compare options and communicate directly with venues before deciding which locations to visit in person.

For couples, the platform is intended to make early-stage venue research more personal, visual and informed. For venues, it offers a way to reach better-matched couples, present their spaces beyond static listings and support more productive enquiries.

The model also has the potential to reduce unnecessary travel by enabling couples to build a stronger shortlist from home before arranging physical viewings — an increasingly relevant benefit as destination weddings and the range of venues under consideration continue to grow.

Jeffrey Faustin, CIO and Managing Partner at Jenson Ventures, said:

“The VenueVerse is addressing a clear gap in a large, established market with a product that combines AI, immersive technology and deep sector insight. Stacey and Mark bring the first-hand experience, commercial understanding and determination we look for in founders. As greater choice reshapes the wedding landscape, we believe there is a compelling opportunity to improve how couples discover venues and how venues connect with the right customers.”

Stacey, Founder and CEO of The VenueVerse, added:

“After more than two decades working alongside couples and venues, I have seen how fragmented and time-consuming venue discovery can be. The VenueVerse is the technology I believe the industry is missing: a more intelligent, immersive and connected way for couples to find places that genuinely fit their vision. Jenson’s investment gives us the backing and expertise to turn that insight into a scalable platform for the UK and, ultimately, international markets.”

The funding will support the continued development and launch of the platform, including its AI matching, immersive viewing and venue engagement capabilities, as The VenueVerse works with couples and a founding group of venues to shape the product.

Jenson Ventures will work closely with The VenueVerse team as it develops the platform, prepares for launch and builds a scalable technology business serving couples and venues in the UK and beyond.
