Jenson Ventures Grievance & Whistleblower Policy
At Jenson Ventures, we are committed to operating with transparency, fairness, and accountability in line with our B Corp certification. This policy outlines how stakeholders can raise grievances or complaints, and how we ensure the protection of whistleblowers.
Grievance Mechanism & Response
Grounds for Accepting a Grievance: We accept grievances relating to (but not limited to):
- Ethical practices, fairness, or transparency
- Environmental or social impacts of our work
- Issues of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate conduct
- Breaches of our stated values, policies, or B Corp commitments
Process for Raising a Grievance
- Submission: Grievances can be submitted via the online form here or by contacting us directly at clientservices@jensonventures.com. Submissions may be anonymous.
- Acknowledgement: We will confirm receipt within 5 working days.
- Review: A senior member of our team will review and, where appropriate, investigate the grievance.
- Communication: We will update the stakeholder on the progress of their grievance at each stage of the process.
- Outcome: We aim to provide a written resolution or clear rationale within 30 days.
- Appeal: If the issue is not resolved, an appeal can be escalated to a Board member or independent advisor.
Resolution: We will seek to facilitate a fair and constructive resolution to grievances. If a grievance cannot be upheld, we will provide a clear explanation of the reasons.
Stakeholders who raise grievances will:
- Receive acknowledgement and regular updates at each stage of the process.
- Be informed of the final outcome, including actions taken or the rationale for not upholding the grievance.
- Have the option to appeal if unsatisfied with the outcome.
Whistleblower Protection
Jenson Ventures is committed to protecting the rights and safety of whistleblowers who raise concerns in good faith.
Commitment to Protection
- No stakeholder will face retaliation, discrimination, or disadvantage for raising a grievance or whistleblowing concern.
- Grievances may be submitted anonymously, and all information will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Consequences of Retaliation
- Any form of retaliation against a whistleblower is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or contractual relationship.
Mechanisms for Protection
- Confidential handling of all whistleblower disclosures.
- Risk assessments to identify and mitigate any potential harm to whistleblowers.
- Oversight by senior leadership to ensure accountability in handling whistleblower cases.
