Investment supports JADE’s next phase as universities seek greater visibility, governance and control across their global education agent networks
London, 5 October 2026 – Jenson Ventures has completed an investment from its SEIS Fund into JADE, the Agent Operating System for Higher Education Institutions.
The investment follows the launch of JADE’s new identity on 1 October and marks the company’s next phase as it continues to build the operating system behind modern university agent networks.
Education agents play a significant role in international student recruitment, representing universities across markets around the world. But while those networks have become increasingly global and complex, the way institutions manage them is often still fragmented across teams, spreadsheets and disconnected systems.
Recruitment may manage the commercial relationship. Admissions sees the applications. Compliance monitors visa outcomes. Finance processes commissions. Legal or Procurement may own the contract. Each team sees part of the relationship, but not always the whole.
JADE is built to connect those pieces.
The platform gives higher education institutions one system through which to manage the education agent lifecycle, from onboarding and contracting through to training, certification, resources, engagement, oversight and commissions.
By bringing the people, processes and information behind an agent network into one connected environment, JADE gives institutions greater visibility over who is representing them, how those relationships are being managed and what is happening across the network.
For education agents, JADE provides a more consistent way to access the information, training, resources and institutional support they need to represent university partners effectively.
The need for that visibility is becoming increasingly important. In the UK, universities using recruitment agents are now expected to retain evidence showing how those relationships are managed in line with the Agent Quality Framework, reinforcing a wider shift towards stronger institutional oversight, governance and accountability.
JADE was founded by Kamila and Dhaval Malavia, combining experience across international higher education, student recruitment, partnerships, technology and media. Kamila has spent nearly two decades working across universities and education agent networks, while Dhaval brings experience across technology, education and building businesses around complex operational problems. Together, they founded JADE around a simple principle: universities should be able to know their network.
Jeffrey Faustin, CIO and Managing Partner at Jenson Ventures, said: “International recruitment is strategically important to universities, yet the systems supporting their education agent networks have not always kept pace with the scale and complexity of those relationships. JADE is addressing that problem with a clear institutional proposition and a platform built around governance, compliance and collaboration. Kamila and Dhaval combine deep sector knowledge with the ambition and complementary skills required to build a category-defining business, and we are delighted to support them in its next phase of growth.”
Kamila Malavia, Co-founder and CEO of JADE, said: “Universities have built increasingly sophisticated global agent networks, but the systems behind them are often still fragmented. An agent relationship can touch recruitment, admissions, compliance, finance, contracts, training and more. When each part is managed separately, it becomes much harder for an institution to see the full picture. JADE was built to change that. We are building the Agent Operating System for Higher Education Institutions: one connected system that helps universities understand their network, manage it more effectively and give their agents a better way to work with them. Our new identity reflects that next stage for JADE, and Jenson’s investment gives us the backing to keep building with greater ambition.”
JADE is already supporting higher education institutions across multiple international markets, with more than 600 education agents connected to the platform.
Jenson Ventures’ investment will support continued product development, institutional growth and JADE’s expansion as it works with universities to bring greater visibility, coordination and control to the way education agent networks are managed. The company’s new identity reflects a broader ambition: to move beyond a collection of agent-management tools and become the institutional operating system for international recruitment.
Jenson Ventures looks forward to working with Kamila, Dhaval and the wider JADE team as the company continues to develop and grow.
